3 Marinades
A selection of 3 types of Marinades that are a must have at all BRAAIS
Ingredients
- Spicy Herb & Garlic Marinade
- Great for: Chicken wings lamb chops, steak
- Ingredients:
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme chopped
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt & pepper to taste

- Sweet & Smoky BBQ Marinade
- Great for: Pork ribs beef brisket, sausages
- Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp mustard optional
- African-Inspired Peri-Peri Marinade
- Great for: Chicken whole or pieces, fish
- Ingredients:
- 2 –3 red chilies or peri-peri sauce to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3 garlic cloves crushed
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour over meat and marinate for at least 1 hour (4+ hours preferred).
